Every kid likes to play in a puddle, Then the water leaves us. We then go and find more ways to get into trouble. Life goes on and so we must. As we become older, It'll eventually become colder. Water will begin to freeze, And we begin to be. As one beautiful joy starts to be dull, My heart fills with that open gaping hole. Time repeats with every season, I think logically of reason. But every so often, In the future, I get close to my coffin. Life takes you by surprise. you stumble down to see the sunrise. Life is not that bad when you slip into a puddle. You realize that life is not that much of a struggle. Take a look around, tell me what you see All it takes is a puddle to see beauty is all around as much can be. -Carlos Lopez Fierro Photo by: Danielle Haynes
